RIVER IS WORKING ON HIS ASCA CHAMPIONSHIP.
River finished his AKC CH in limited showing, garnering many compliments from the judges. River is now working toward his ASCA Championship in a state where shows are few and far between. Despite the very limited showing, River has earned
7 points and one major toward his ASCA Championship.
The above picture was taken in July 2002 when River went Best of Winners. The lovely handler is Sammi McDowell who is a familiar face in Alaska's rings, where she has handled client dogs to numerous wins, including BIS.

This is a second shot of River taken the same day (July 2002). Hard to decide which picture is better. Both show off his conformation nicely. The one picture nicely presents his handsome face and the other shows off his lovely neck and crest.
