August 2002 Scout's deep color, outstanding structure and classic head garner many compliments from breeders and judges. He has been shown exclusively in BBX. Scout was shown two days in AKC the first weekend in August 2002. The first day he was RWD and on the second day he was Best of Winners for an AKC major!
	Scout August 2002 August 2002 continued to be a great month for Scout! This picture was taken the second weekend in August 2002 when Scout was BOW/BOB over the specials for an ASCA major win.  SIDEBAR: Scout's first leg toward his STDs title was earned in August 2001. (Note that Alaska has a single weekend of stock trials each year.) That leg was earned though Scout had only limited exposure to sheep in a small round pen. At only 14 months old, Scout not only got his first STDs leg, but managed a score which earned him a 9th place ranking in ASCA's stockdog program (STDs). Our handsome bred-by earned an Award of Merit in herding. What a guy! SCOUT just makes us want to SHOUT with pride and joy!
	More success in August 2002!!! The third weekend in August 2002 was our annual herding trial. Scout earned his second leg for his STDs title in nice form. Handled by Suzanne Nevada and judged by Ken Lyle.  Thanks, Suzanne, for handling our Scout to such wonderful success in the herding trials!
	Scout December 2002 We are happy to report also that Scout's kind, confident nature and eagerness to please earn him praises from all who have the pleasure of meeting him.
