How fortunate we were when, in April 2000, Karen Broadus (Marquis Kennels) sent Scotty (Scout's sire), to her Alaskan agent, Kim Lehman of Kyrie Kennels. 	Cub Scout ~ ~ Scout pictured at five weeks of age At this point, we were already quite certain Scout was staying with us. And, of course, when evaluated at eight weeks, we knew he was staying with us!
	Boy Scout ~ ~ Scout at five months. Even as a pup, Scout's excellent structure and movement are garnering many compliments from other breeders. He is a happy, confident and intelligent boy. Scout is inquisitive and alert, but kind and sweet. He is a beautiful, balanced and confident young dog.

Scout continues to mature into a beautiful and intelligent young dog. We are so pleased with his loving and confident nature.
	Scout is not only very handsome. He has outstanding temperament and shows very nice herding instinct. His first few times on sheep he has fectched them promptly and held interest until taken out of the pen. He is gentle but assertive, even as a pup. Our goals for Scout in the years 2001 - 2002 include conformation, herding and obedience titles. We are very confident this boy can do it all.
